Adelaide was fostered and then adopted into a home with a senior Corgi and another young female dog who actually was one of Adelaide's puppies. It went terrific and everyone was elated but unfortunately introducing a 3rd dog into the home has caused the other young female to act out. While their adopter has tried to trouble shoot at this point just due to the risk of injury and family pressure Adelaide needs a new home. Adelaide has literally done absolutely nothing wrong, and the adopter is distraught, but she feels this is what needs to happen for the 2 dogs that already occupied the home. This is in no way a reflection of Adelaide who is legit a near perfect dog. Adelaide has been a member of the HPPAW general family since she was found, extremely pregnant, wandering around, thirsty, hungry, scared and epically confused in the middle of nowhere on the TX/Mexico border over a year ago. I cannot imagine who in their right mind would dump her as she's magnificent but their loss is our gain! A kind soul snapped her up and then another temp fostered her through whelping. When they began to get mobile they went to another foster until they transported up to us and found their FURever homes.Adelaide was the most amazing momma to her pups and it shows as her pups are amazing dogs! Adelaide is patient, extremely smart, loving, cuddly but not annoying, independent but not stubborn. If there was such a thing as a perfect dog it would be her! She was adopted but as discussed above, it's not working out due to the needs of one of the other dogs in the home. As a result Adelaide finds herself again looking for her people. We are obviously very upset for Adelaide and the adopter is also heartbroken, but we need to focus on finding her people and getting her moved.  If you feel that this amazing girl may be a good fit for your home please contact us!!! To Contact UsMessage us through our website the Facebook Page at /HighPlainsPAWFill out our Adoption Application at /adoption-applicationFill out our Foster Application at  /foster-applicationEmail us at highplainspaw@gmail.comCall our VOICEMAIL at (  $200.00 Adoption Fee (Which is considered a non refundable donation and being we are a 501c3 organization it is tax deductible.
